Sonya Madeira

I was born in Mumbai in 1973. I grew up between my grandmother’s house on Nepean Sea Road, and Delhi, where my parents were based, with two years in Agra thrown in. An only child, I spent a lot of time reading or going to the club for a swim after school. It was an unconventional upbringing for sure. My entire family was involved in the music industry in some way or the other. So, there was always music and musicians in the house.
