Valerie Pinto

I was born and raised in Mumbai. I lost my father when I was just two years old, and my mother single-handedly raised my sister and me. From a young age, I learnt the values of collaboration and discipline. While other children were playing outdoors, I often helped my mother and sister with household chores. I developed a passion for sports and dreamed of pursuing it seriously, but circumstances led me to focus on my education instead. This dedication paid off when I graduated as the top student in economics. I studied economics and political science at St Xavier’s College, Mumbai.
